Shiatsu can help in all these ways and more! 


In shiatsu, we work with meridians, acupressure points, muscles and joints, to enable your Qi (energy) to come into a dynamic balance. This can help to resolve symptoms and benefit the body, emotions, mind and spirit. It also feels great!

I have been practising shiatsu since 1997, and I am registered with the Shiatsu Society. My background is in academic research (psychotherapy and complementary medicine). I am supportive, caring and creative, and I bring my commitment, experience and curiosity to my practice. 


I am a registered teacher of shiatsu (MRSS(T)) and I teach with the Shiatsu College (Manchester).


A shiatsu session generally lasts for about an hour, and takes place on a futon mat on the floor. You will remain fully clothed. The treatment will be tailored to meet your needs, and is likely to include holding, stretching and hands-on work to increase the balance and flow of energy (Qi) in the meridians. It doesn’t hurt!
